Bio
I’m David DW Liu and I leverage data to inform insights and strategies. I am a UX researcher with 9 years of research experience (4 years industry in home/consumer technology and 5 years academic). My experience includes making impactful product decisions based on my research, mentoring researchers, and strategizing collaboration cross-functionally. Through my empathy, I aim to understand and improve the experiences of people. I do this by answering questions such as who, what, why, how, and under which conditions.
Outside of research, I enjoy attending community events, arts & crafts, and traveling. I am also an advocate of diversity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and STEM education
